The History of the Pro Bowl Fantasy Football League
 

The Pro Bowl Fantasy Football League is a new league beginning with the 2002 season.  However, only the name and concept are new to the members of the league.  Many of the teams in this league are charter franchises with other teams being added over the years.

Our league prior to this change was known as the Gridiron Fantasy Football League.  I started the league back in 1994 as a 10 team league without really knowing what I was doing.

Each year, certain additions were made to make the league better.  We eventually switched from a TD only league to a performance/TD league. We have had seasons with as few as 8 owners and as many as 12, but have always been a redraft league. New owners eventually strengthened our league to 12 solid franchises, where it has been for the last 3 years.

As commissioner, I am always looking for things to make our league better, more challenging, more competitive, and most importantly, more entertaining.  Look for this season to be the best ever for our league.  I have some great things planned for this year!
