Rookie Preview: Top QB
Prospect
QB-Eli
Manning
Senior | Mississippi
HT:6'4
WT:222
FORTY:4.9
ANALYSIS: Is
the prototype pocket passing QB.
Has it all: the height, the arm
and above all, the head. Very
technically sound passer with
good mechanics. Excellent
decision maker and a leader.
Does his homework and is coming
out of college more comfortable
with audibles and reads than
most college QBs. Is an accurate
short to intermediate passer.
Makes quick decisions and gets
the ball out quick. Has good,
not overpowering arm strength.
Is a decent deep ball passer but
if there was something for him
to work on it is deep ball
accuracy. Manning has good
footwork but isn't overly mobile
and while he's capable getting
outside the pocket and throwing
on the run, he's at his best
dropping back and standing in
the pocket.
OVERALL: Has
the package of skills you look
for in an NFL QB and his work
ethic will all but ensure his
NFL success. Likely will be the
first QB taken. A top 10 pick.

Rookie Preview: Top WR
Prospect |
WR-Larry
Fitzgerald
Wide Receivers
Sophomore | Pittsburgh
HT:6'3
WT:225
FORTY:4.49
ANALYSIS: One
of the best pure receivers to
come along the past few years.
Has uncanny ability to simply
catch the ball. Adjusts to
almost any pass thrown his way
and can make the spectacular
catches in addition to the easy
ones. Has a good size/speed
combo. Uses his hands well on
his release and is a solid route
runner. Very smooth and fluid
for a taller receiver, despite
being a real blazingly fast
player, he shows impressive
ability to create separation. Is
decent but not great after the
catch. Is strong and decently
fast but isn't that elusive or
nifty. Downfield blocking is
outstanding. Fitzgerald also has
top notch character and work
ethic. He will be a positive
addition to any football team.
OVERALL: Showed
at his pro day that he had
enough speed and quickness. He
steadily improved his forty time
each year at Pitt. This is an
elite player with almost
unlimited potential for the next
level. One of the top 3
prospects on the board. High 1st
Round.
has the complete package. |

Rookie Preview: Top RB
Prospect |
RB-Kevin
Jones
Running Back
Junior | Virginia Tech
HT:6'1
WT:205
FORTY:4.3
ANALYSIS:
Has
outstanding speed and quickness.
Possesses track star speed
around the outside and breakaway
ability. Is well built and has
good power for his size. Is not
as instinctive as some top
backs. Has had fumbling problems
and receiving ability is not his
strong suit.
OVERALL: Outstanding
combo of speed and strength. A
true home run hitter. Needs to
refine his overall game though.
Still should test through the
roof at the combine and be a 1st
Round pick.
